The QAAMS program is funded by the Australian Government's Pathology Section within the Department of Health and Ageing.
The QAAMS program is administered by the Community Point-of-Care Services (CPS) unit within the Flinders University Rural Clinical School and the RCPA Quality Assurance Programs Pty Ltd.
A QAAMS Program Management Group has been established to provide overarching management and governance to the Program.
On a day-to-day basis the QAAMS program is managed according to the following structure:

Mark Shephard is the QAAMS Program Manager.
From the Flinders CPS unit, Beryl Mazzachi is the QAAMS Training Co-ordinator, Anne Shephard, Heather Halls and Brooke Spaeth are Project Officers and Pauline Rudevics and Cheryl Marshall are our Administrative Assistants. Emmanuelle Pratt (based in Mt Gambier) provides financial management and David Badger (based in Renmark) provides technical support.
Janice Gill and Kristina Barancek represent the RCPA Quality Assurance Programs Pty Ltd.
Craig O'Sullivan provides support from Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.
Mick McDonnell is our representative from Medicare Australia.
David Dunn is the QAAMS Program's Clinical Support Officer.
QAAMS LEADERS GROUP
A new innitiative of the QAAMS Program is the establishment of a QAAMS Leaders Group to ensure the QAAMS Program remains culturally appropriate. Profiles of the current members of the QAAMS Leaders Group are shown below along with a Terms of Reference document that outlines the roles and responsibilities of the Leaders Group.
