Kristina Barancek

Kristina joined the RCPA Chemical Pathology Quality Assurance Program as a medical scientist in mid October 2008 to initially cover a short maternity leave position for Sue Scott until June 2009. Subsequently her time with the Chemical Pathology QAP has been extended to cover yet another request for maternity leave. Kristina will be responsible for the QAAMS program while Lisa Jolly is away on maternity leave and is looking forward to working with the QAAMS team and the participants.

Kristina graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Science in 1989 (University of South Australia) and a Bachelor of Arts(Honours) in 1998 (University of Adelaide). She has worked as a senior scientist predominantly in multi-disciplined laboratories in both the public and private sector. For the past 10 years she has worked extensively in client services and as a laboratory duty co-ordinator within private pathology.
