Anne Shephard

Anne Shephard has worked as a Research Assistant in the Departments of Medicine, gastroenterology and Medical Biochemistry at Flinders University for a total of 20 years, where she specialised in the fields of neurological control of the cardiovascular system, bowel cancer and lipid metabolism. She has also worked in the Special Chemistry and Pharmacology section of the SouthPath laboratory at Flinders Medical Centre for four years, where she has used the DCA 2000 point-of-care device in the hospital’s weekly diabetes clinic. Anne joined the Community Point-of-Care Services unit in February 2003 as a Research Assistant, where she has worked across a range of POCT projects including QAAMS and specialises in the management, data analysis and provision of consumer support for quality control testing programs.
